HIPPA Services from GPHA
Great Plains Health Alliance is committed to maintaining an environment that protects its information resources and those of its clients from:

Adherence to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act of 2009 (HITECH) as amended by the Omnibus Rule are of primary importance.

GPHA continues to adhere to standards regarding the collection and processing of medical data, restricts the disclosure of such information, and establishes appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for electronic protected health information (ePHI). GPHA also assures that any of its business associates adhere to these standards.

Multiple clients entrust sensitive information to GPHA every day—information that is required by law, and good business practices, to be protected. Compliance with information security policies help protect information resources and enhance the reputation of GPHA as deserving of public trust.
